With over 20 years of event production experience, I have seen so many amazing events, but always have felt that something was missing in my hometown.  As a successful festival owner, I frequently get ideas from vendors and a common theme was that many folks wanted a arts/makers event in Crook County that was affordable, fun, and featured a diversity of art and culture. I produced the Creators and Culture Festival for 2 years - the first was a very cold, very windy, very rainy horrible day!  The 2nd year was much better weather and attendance, but still was not fulfilling my goals with the culture element.

The Prineville-Crook County Chamber of Commerce started the High Desert Moonfest around the same time focusing on Prineville & Crook County's history and heritage.  In June 2025, the Chamber asked if I was interested in taking over Moonfest and merging it with my Creators and Culture Festival.  I quickly said YES and the rest is becoming history.

Featuring vendors with arts, up-cycled, woodworking, ceramics, glass, painting, authors, handmade, leather work, jewelry, home decor, and much more!  I am working on continuing the great education the Chamber had and add more to it about the timber, ranching, railroad, Native Americans, and more that built the foundation of our community.  Please watch for more details coming soon!
